James Studio offers in-studio and on-location portraiture.  We specialize in natural looking photography and videography.  It is a quality that we aim for that makes you stand out as naturally beautiful.  James offers a casual personal style that puts his clients at ease.  Great pictures is as much about the relationship between photographer and client as it is about the technical aspects of getting beautiful portraits that people cherish forever.  

Paul is our expert videographer.  He has been shooting videography for over seven years.  He provides a gentle touch and an experienced eye.  Together James and Paul are an experienced team that provide their clients with creative, tasteful images. 

James Studio photography uses a style called portrait journalism. It is a careful combination of shooting whatever is happening (photo journalism) with helping to make things happen beautifully (portraiture). Using high-end equipment, creative shooting, casual poses and carefully chosen backgrounds you will be excited about your wedding photos and albums!

Our wedding photography packages start at $1095.  We offer a variety of packages to meet the budgets of most couples.  Higher budget packages include at least one album, print credit and more staff.  For lower budgets we provide the same quality pictures but would not include as many options or staff.

Our high definition wedding videography starts at $895.  We offer one, two and three camera shoots.  Higher packages may include a photomontage for the reception, a love story video, a BluRay version, additional staff handling the cameras and other options. 

Our in-studio portraiture starts at $49.   James Studio offers a state of the art portrait studio with gorgious backgrounds, props and sets.  Do you have a baby on the way, a new born or mature family?  Come to James Studio for family fine art photographs located conveniently at 2611 University Ave.    Though there is at least one of us in during most business hours we so go out on shoots and have other business so please call 608.233.5556 before coming to visit. 

We print using a professional photo lab which uses Kodak Professional Endura Paper in Lustre and Metallic finishes (Metallic is a high gloss with a jumps-out-at-you look — it is very cool). Our pictures and packages are competitively priced for the Madison Wisconsin area.
