Ben Golden & Naomi Morphis Wedding

Ben and Naomi were married September 28, 2013.  Below are a few of my favorites from the day.

In the following few shots we see the “First Look” being played out.

The following shot shows Naomi glowing.

It was a beautiful day; at least until the late afternoon when it rained almost non-stop.

Naomi had an inspiration for a cute picture.  The following is the result.

This is Naomi’s family.  I thought it was amazing to have such an even incline of heights.

N&B-5

The day revealed a special relationship between Naomi and her brother.  This was a fun moment.

N&B-6

I love this shot of the bouquet off to the side.

N&B-7

The church offered a nice little alcove in the balcony.  I enjoyed playing with this image.

N&B-8

Naomi and Ben are very happy to have finally come to this special moment in this special day.

N&B-9

Before the rain came we got several shots at the Tenny Park walkover bridge.

The reception was at Warner Park in Madison.  The park is home to these Sandhill Cranes.

N&B-11

Naomi did not want to let a little rain stop her from getting outdoor pictures.

N&B-12

So many couples act like they don’t know how to kiss.  Ben and Naomi were otherwise.  They seemed to know how to do this very naturally.  I love it.

N&B-13

There is a look that should last forever.   This was during their first dance.

N&B-14

At the end of the evening.  I like to take the couple off to a secluded spot and get some creative shots.  The following is a good example.

And finally here is a ring shot.

I love photography, and I've found that Madison is a beautiful city in which to shoot. The Wisconsin Capitol, State Street, Monona Terrace, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Allen Centennial Gardens, Henry Vilas Park, and the Arboretum are just some of the many beautiful places one can go for gorgeous outdoor pictures.

I am a full-time photographer. I enjoy many kinds of photography, as you can see on this web site. In my storefront studio I offer portrait photography in a setting that allows me to control the light and backgrounds.

I work both in studio and on location to provide creative personal photography and videography for weddings, businesses, and families. James Studio offers a classic look with a creative flair!
