Joy Publications Bridal Show

This was my third year as a vendor at the bridal show put on by Joy Publications here in Madison, Wisconsin. The show is in conjunction with the Wedding Planner & Guide which they produce yearly. It takes place at the Alliant Energy Center and is attended by about 5,000 people with as many as 200 vendors.

One distinctive for James Studio is that both photography and videography services are provided. High-definition cameras are used. The footage is usually converted to standard definition, as most clients are still using standard definition DVD players. The high-definition version carries an extra charge.

Below is a demo reel that was shown at the Wedding Planner & Guide Bridal Show, January 16 & 17, 2010.

I love photography, and I've found that Madison is a beautiful city in which to shoot. The Wisconsin Capitol, State Street, Monona Terrace, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Allen Centennial Gardens, Henry Vilas Park, and the Arboretum are just some of the many beautiful places one can go for gorgeous outdoor pictures.

I am a full-time photographer. I enjoy many kinds of photography, as you can see on this web site. In my storefront studio I offer portrait photography in a setting that allows me to control the light and backgrounds.

With the right blend of artistry, equipment, leadership and organization the shoot will be a day to remember with lots of fun along the way. We received our photo album and LOVE it! I love the shiny gloss and having everything completely put together for us is amazing! When I’ve shown it to people they love the book and have even said it makes them feel as though they are looking through one of those gorgeous wedding magazines because of all the beautiful photos. My mom says she loves looking through the photos because she can see the emotions on our faces and the photos actually show exactly how we were feeling that day.
